Our twittering toilet
January 26 2011 / 15:30

So... we have moved to our new office last summer. Our office is stuffed with GE / Qbus smart home gear which makes it nice to experiment and develop for our client.
We have made a lot of extra gear which makes our life easier.
- One button which turns on / off all devices and our telephone system.
- When we are not present in the office, pictures are taken from all cameras as soon as there is movement.
- An Windows phone 7 application which shows the current energy usage of the office using live tiles.
- ....
But the most fun one we have worked on is our twittering toilet. Our toilet tweets about its visitors based on duration and movement. All inputs are generated by the Qbus motion sensor in the light switch.
