Yamaha introduces the orange Tenori-On Yamaha introduces the orange Tenori-On It has already been 4 years since the Tenori-On designed and created by Japanese artist Toshio Iwai was introduced. The tenori-on consists of a screen, held in the hands, of a sixteen by sixteen grid of LED switches, any of which can be activated in a number of ways to create an evolving musical soundscape.

Originally the Tenori-On was rather pricely, so Yamaha now introduced the 'more affordable' version called Tenori-On Orange. The metal housing has been replaced with a plastic one, and some of the functionality's has been simplified to save costs.

I think it doesn't look as cool and retro as it use to do, but I still love the concept!!
